Sequin Top

Hi everyone!

This is my last post for my thrifting series, so I thought I would do something fun. I am styling a sequin top today that I picked up from Shelter on George Street. It's originally from Topshop and two sizes larger than I would normally go, but I like the way it has a looser, carefree fit.

 

Shirt: UK2LA, Leggings:Garage, Flats: H&M

I think this is a great top for New Years Eve, which is exactly what I'm planning. I layered my chiffon collared shirt underneath the top and added shiny leggings for texture. 

Jacket:  Forever 21Jeans: Reitmans, Sneakers: Airwalk

This outfit I combined it with casual pieces to make it more appropriate for the day time. I feel sequins are more than fine for everyday wear as long as you don't go all out with the other parts of your outfit!

This final outfit I paired my mom jeans and sneakers with the top. This is also a casual look and I like the shape of the jeans with the shirt. Similarly, I think this top would look great with boyfriend jeans!
