Black T-Shirt Dress

I currently have a full week off of school (yay!) so I am posting this fourth entry already and expect another one pretty soon! This time I am styling a black t-shirt dress that I picked up from Sue Ryder on George Street.

All of the items in this store are only one pound which is great!

Shirt: Bizzbee,  Tights: Primark,  Boots:Call It Spring, Scarf: Thrifted,  Purse: Fossil

This outfit feels very autumn to me. I also got this scarf from a secondhand shop and I think the colours go great with the denim shirt and browns in my accessories. It's a nice casual look that shows just how easy it is to layer this dress with other items.

Shirt: Topshop   Shoes: Victory

This is a really different look than I would usually wear, but I actually like it a lot. I paired this slightly cropped shirt over top of the dress to make it look more like a skirt, then added white sneakers. It's a slightly androgynous look and I feel fits well with the normcore trend.

Jacket: Vero Moda,  Tights: Ardene,  Boots: Joe Fresh

The last outfit is slightly edgier than I would usually wear as well. I chose to wear all black, but I feel the pattern in the tights keep it from looking too black. This outfit I would save for the night time!

Here are some other casual black dress options that are not just the t-shirt style but other flattering cuts.

  1. Hey Sarah! I love your blog! :) my friend (Emma Baird) is going to an Avril Lavigne concert and would like to know which style of outfit she should wear. She was thinking ripped jeans with chains and fingerless gloves but would love to see this type of look on you first!
